Former President Gerald R. Ford Dies

The United States Embassy in Guatemala wishes to express its gratitude for the messages of condolence it has received upon the death of former President Gerald R. Ford. The 38th President of the United States passed away last night. He was 93.

The Embassy offers a condolence book for members of the Guatemalan Government and the Diplomatic Corps. The book is available for signing in the Embassy lobby today, Wednesday, December 27, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.; Thursday, December 28, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., and Friday, December 29, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
